1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Rewright ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated from Utah, United States.

2. Description of Service

Rewright is an AI-powered writing tool that rewrites AI-generated text to sound more natural and human-written. The Service offers both a free rule-based mode and a premium AI-powered mode that uses third-party language model APIs.

3. User Accounts

To access the full features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and verify it before using the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to process text that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or use automated tools to access it without permission. The Service includes profanity filtering and rate limiting to enforce these standards.

5. Text Processing and Data

Text you submit for rewriting is sent to our servers and, when using Deep Rewrite mode, to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) for processing. We do not permanently store the text you submit for rewriting. Rewrite logs (word counts, mode used, timestamps) are stored for analytics purposes but do not include the actual text content.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any text you submit to the Service. The rewritten output is provided for your use without restriction. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Rewright.

7. Free and Paid Usage

Guest users receive a limited number of free rewrites. Registered users receive higher usage limits. We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time. The Service may introduce paid tiers in the future with advance notice.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in behavior that disrupts other users. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that rewritten text will be undetectable as AI-generated, factually accurate, or suitable for any specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any output before use. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
